JPEG scan of the 1958 Yearbook cover for Sir Francis Drake High School, San Anselmo, CA	GIF versions of the scan converted to scalable vector graphics, using Adobe Illustrator.
Task: The 50th reunion committee for the graduating class of 1958 wanted to use the logo from their senior yearbook on flyers and name tags. Some items would be printed in color, some in black & white
Solution: I scanned the cover of the yearbook and placed the JPEG file into Illustrator and traced the logo using the pen tool. The original colors of the year book were unsuitable for inkjet printing, so the colors were matched to other school emblems.
